Dear 3PKS Clients,

If you are experiencing any cold & flu & COVID symptoms, PLEASE notify our office to reschedule your appointment.

General Notice: Extended Health Benefits coverages are not customized to your individual health needs/injuries and may or may not cover all treatment costs. Know what your plan covers including yearly deductibles, services covered, percentage coverage, and treatment limits.

Ask your plan administrator for details. You are responsible for the co-pay (aka user fee) portion, which is the amount not covered by your extended health benefits plan on the date of service.

ICBC sets a specific amount they fund towards treatments. Like extended health benefits, you are responsible for the co-pay (aka user fee) portion, which is the amount not covered by ICBC on the date of service.

After starting a career as a medical doctor- a Neurologist, introduction to Traditional Chinese Medicine triggered a new professional interest, which eventually resulted in a career in Traditional Chinese Medicine. I started my study and practice in Eastern Europe, but then I moved abroad to expand my knowledge and to get more experience on international level. I successfully passed all the given tests and obtained a European Union Licence as an Acupuncturist. During my Internship in Dublin, I was attending the clinic of Dr. Wan- a former Doctor for the National Sport Team of China, which gave me more experience and confidence to treat different forms of injury during their rehabilitation. Few years after, my family immigrated to Canada, where I continued my path and successfully graduated from PCU College, obtaining a Practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine Diploma. I have been practicing Acupuncture since 1991 and have a wide of experience treating patients of a wide range of age groups with different diagnoses. Besides the common problems being treated by acupuncture, I have the special skills and advanced specializations to treat such neurological problems such as trigeminal neuralgia, facial neuritis, intercostal neuralgia, migraine, recovery after stroke, recovery after injury, and bed wetting. After treating children and babies by acupuncture for a number of years, I developed a gentle and painless technique of needle insertion and manipulation. My next favourite modality after acupuncture is a Tui-Na Massage. This method may be used effectively if a person is afraid of needles or too weak, needing a more gentle approach. Additionally, I have knowledge of herbs and their combinations, oriental style bodywork and Qi Gong. During the course of treatment I may advise the most appropriate diet, which is a good add-on for the main course of treatment. I have also worked with UBC Athletes on their rehabilitation post-injury, allowing me to make connections with the sports side of rehabilitation. Lastly, I enjoy doing treatments that are compatible for patients, in a sense of comfort and lifestyle, and with my experience with working with athletes, actors, medical workers, and labourers who have a physically demanding job- I am able to give appropriate advice based on their lifestyle. The knowledge of western medicine helps me to identify problems and to choose the best methods of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Beside my work I enjoy my big family-my wife, children, and grandchildren. My favourite outdoor activity- watersports and BC is a perfect place for that! I also have been practicing Yoga (Bihar School) for over 30 years and was certified as a Yoga Instructor. This is an amazing system that plays as the “pushing force” in my daily activities. In my life, I try to use a holistic approach and group relative things for better results. I am an active student of the Tai Chi group, which has the same roots as Traditional Chinese Medicine and also can be used to facilitate treatment and recovery!
